What is the Network?

The Ann Arbor Area Pet Sitters Network is a select group of professionals who have a proven reputation for providing reliable, competent and trustworthy pet care services. The network serves Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the surrounding communities of Saline, Milan, Manchester, Chelsea, Dexter, Pinckney, Ypsilanti, Belleville, Grass Lake, Munith, Gregory, Whittaker and Stockbridge.

Some of our members have been providing professional pet care for more than 20 years. Many of us have known each other for years and have been available to help with business support and backup care when needed. We pass referrals on to each other based on the coverage areas of our group members and particular pet care needs.

We have members with veterinary technician credentials, trainers, behaviorists, groomers, those with farm animal experience and more.

Credentials

Most of our network members are bonded and

insured. However, these qualifications are

not required for our network. If they are important

to you, ask the pet sitter you contact about

such credentials.

Many of our pet sitters have also taken pet CPR

and pet first aid classes.

Some of our members belong to such organizations

as Pet Sitters International, the National Association

of Professional Pet Sitters and Professional United

Pet Sitters.

These organizations offer annual conventions,

seminars and training resources to improve our pet

care knowledge, which enables us to provide your

pets with the best professional care.

Our network supports the Humane Society of Huron Valley by sponsoring

a shelter cage and participating in fundraising events throughout the year.
